The successful applicant will be joining the team at an exciting time of expansion for the Studholme site into high value proteins. Influencing the culture of Food Safety & Quality across our Studholme site, this is a critical role in our ambition to be the 'most trusted source of dairy nutrition' and this position will utilise your ability to lead best practice management ensuring compliance with Fonterra Food Safety and Quality Standards.
In addition to supporting the expansions FSQ activity, you will provide verification and coaching, supported by your expertise in interpreting regulatory requirements for Dairy, FSQ Standards and market and customer needs.
You will infuse energy and direction into FSQ systems and projects by building strong, positive and lasting relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
Key accountabilities include:
Maintain and improve the site FSQ culture through the delivery of quality awareness programmes.
Uphold and manage the Site Quality Management Systems.
Lead and provide direction on key FSQ initiatives and decisions.
Supporting the Studholme expansion FSQ compliance activities through to commercial production

If you have FSQ leadership experience or proven FSQ background and you're ready to step up to the next big challenge to further develop your FSQ leadership and knowledge, then this role is for you.
Success factors include:
Demonstrable experience driving change in quality within an operational environment.
Extensive food safety systems and process skills preferably from a dairy environment.
Previous auditing experience in a dairy and/or food environment preferred.
First rate relationship building and influencing skills with the professional courage to do what's right.
Proven experience in managing regulatory compliance in relation to dairy products, and manufacturing processes.
Experience establishing Quality Management Systems and Compliance with new manufacturing processes would be an advantage
A relevant tertiary qualification in food science, technology or quality systems would be highly regarded.
