Limited Service Volunteer Course
This is a six week full time residential course run by the NZ Defence Force Youth Development Unit in conjunction with Ministry of Social Development and NZ Police. The programme covers such things as health and hygiene, corrective training, fitness, goal setting, confidence building, adventure training, job search skills, first aid training and a lot more!
If you are between 18 and 27, in good health and currently not working, and you would like further information about attending then please get in touch with Lisa.

Many workplaces consider cultural competency to be a priority, especially working in the health and public sectors. ECALD and Mauri Ora Associates have free courses available, designed for those working in a health setting but the content is relevant to everyone.
Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori
Join a guided journey to deepen your understanding and awareness of Māori knowledge. Toro Mai offers two introductory online courses in Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori. These are taught via an immersive multi-media online platform with interactive activities. They are approximately 10 hours each and can be studied at your own pace.
