HOW TO APPLY:
Quarry Utility Operator
Located at our Makareao processing plant, the Ultility Operator will be involved in a wide range of activities around the extraction and production of quality lime. Reporting to the Quarry Leading Hand, this role includes driving heavy machinery, operating fixed plants such as crushing and screening, and general quarry operations.
This position will require you to:
Operate fixed plant such as crushing and screening.
Load and haul,
Assist in drill and blast,
Complete basic maintenance and housekeeping,
Collect samples for quality assurance.
The successful candidate will:
be a flexible team player who likes to self-sufficiently deliver high performance, enjoys teamwork and has a willingness to learn and positively apply their skills.
have experience operating front end loaders, dump trucks, excavators, crushers, mills, forklifts, water carts, preferably in mining/quarrying roles.
be computer literate.
be flexible to work early mornings, days, evenings and weekends as required.
agree to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
