Operations Manager

James Davis Contracting Ltd is a family owned and operating business based in Waimate, operating in the South Canterbury and the North Otago area.

We are looking for an experienced earthmoving operator to help with the day to day running of the business alongside the owners, this effectively being the Operations Manager.

The successful applicant will need to be confident with running earthmoving projects, applying their practical knowledge and skills while guiding the team on daily activities, that also doesn’t mind jumping on the levers and leading by example.

Applicants must be able to:

• Oversee and manage projects, allocating staff and resources efficiently and effectively.

• Develop and maintain business relationships with customers.

• Use of job management and timesheet software.

Remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The applicants must have a current New Zealand Visa or NZ residency to apply.
